Indoor - Outdoor Air Exchange.
For most homes, indoor air quality can be more unhealthy than polluted city air. That problem is amplified in homes built as air tight as those in Mosaic Oaks. Since typical homes are NOT even remotely air tight, they "naturally" exchange air all the time (but at the expense of indoor air temperatures).
In response to this concern, the homes in Mosaic Oaks are engineered with superior ventilation systems in which fresh outdoor air is pulled in through the air conditioner's make-up air plenums while stale, potentially toxic indoor air is expelled via exhaust fans in the bathrooms and water closets. And, as a key component of this ventilation system, the air conditioners feature oversized condensation coils to remove humidity from the outside air being pulled into the house, thereby reducing indoor moisture and the problems associated with it.
