Eco-friendly Landscaping.
"Environmentally friendly", "eco-friendly", and "nature friendly" are synonyms used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal harm on the environment. Add Mosaic Oaks to this list.
Built over an old horse farm in which the native vegetation had largely been removed in years past, Mosaic Oaks has been designed to return the land to its natural state while accommodating the residents of the community and the wildlife in the surrounding forests. The common areas of the community have been planted with lush vegetation, most of which are native to the area. The landscaping around each home is almost entirely indigenous and features innovative irrigation design that very efficiently conserves water. Pedestrian and parking areas are composed of gravel to allow a porous surface for rain water absorption. The focal points of the community, a pair of small ponds that frame the entrance to the subdivision, are teeming with fish, turtles, frogs and other wildlife. And, if you are patient, you can catch a glimpse of the occasional raccoon, rabbit and deer as they forage for food and traverse the community.
Of course, as Mosaic Oaks matures, so will the landscape, expanding habitats for wildlife and native plants alike. If you love the environment, you'll love Mosaic Oaks!
