Structurally Insulated Panel Systems (optional).

The Structurally Insulated Panel System (SIPS) is a well establisehd construction process that has been recognized under the International Construction Standard (ICS).  Composed of interior and exterior fiber cement composite panels sandwiching six inches of expanded polystyrene insulation. It has superior strength and insulation values when compared to conventional wood frame construction.  It is also inherently superior for fire safety and termite protection (it doesn’t burn and termites won’t eat it).  Although it is an optional feature of the Mosaic Oaks homes, it is strongly recommended to provide the homeowner with the maximum value of his home.
